EIF Scholars

The purpose of EIF Scholars is to empower high-achieving students from across Dallas County with the knowledge, skills, and support needed to successfully earn a bachelor’s degree. Each participating high school selects top-performing students who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to growth.

Throughout their senior year, EIF Scholars engage in intensive leadership development and college readiness experiences that prepare them for admission to top-tier colleges across the country. Participants who complete program requirements are honored at An Evening with the Stars, our annual spring scholarship reception and ceremony.

What are the benefits of the EIF Scholars program?

In addition to college advising with their EIF advisor, EIF Scholars meet regularly throughout the school year to receive:

• Leadership development
• Service learning opportunities
• College readiness experiences

How can students apply for EIF Scholars?

At the beginning of each school year, seniors should reach out to their campus EIF Advisor for detailed information about the application and program requirements.

What is An Evening With the Stars?

An Evening With the Stars is a scholarship reception and ceremony held each April that honors the hard work of all of our EIF Scholars. The event features inspirational guest speakers, food, and beverages, and each EIF Scholar who completes program requirements and the An Evening With the Stars application will receive a scholarship at the event.
