JPMorgan’s Private Bank
Debbie Cox is Managing Director of JPMorgan’s Private Bank. She provides advice on wealth structuring solutions related to wealth transfer, family governance, business succession, philanthropy, and tax planning. Ms. Cox joined the Private Bank’s Wealth Advisory group in 2002. She brings more than 25 years of wealth advisory experience to JPMorgan and is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Prior to joining JPMorgan Chase, Ms. Cox was with Strasburger & Price, L.L.P., from 1981 to 2002.
Ms. Cox is an active member of the State Bar of Texas, American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (Fellow), Council of Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Estate Planning Council (president, 1995-96; vice president, 1993-95; secretary, 1992-93), and Dallas Bar Association Trusts and Estates Section (chairman, 1989-90). She is the incoming chair of the Government Relations Committee of the Texas Bankers Association Financial Services Division where she has been active in promoting fiduciary-friendly legislation for the past four years. Additionally, Ms. Cox is on the board for Education is Freedom and the Dallas Women’s Foundation.
Ms. Cox is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, where she received her B.S. degree (with highest honors) in 1978 and her J.D. (with honors) in 1981.
